    Terms of Use

    Effective date: July 24, 2026

    By using Spontly (“the Service”), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

    1. About the Service

    Spontly is a mobile application for spontaneous meetups. It shows meetups near you on a map, lets you create your own, join others, chat with participants, post 24-hour stories and follow people.

    The Service is operated by Sergej Děďuchin, IČO 09827064, Kurzova 2222/16, Praha – Stodůlky, 155 00, Czech Republic. Contact: info@spontly.eu.

    Spontly is a place to arrange meetings. We are not a party to the meetings themselves, we do not organise them and we are not present at them.

    2. Who may use Spontly

    You must be at least 17 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. One person may hold one account, and the information in it must be truthful — a real name and a real photo of yourself.

    You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your sign-in method secure and tell us at info@spontly.eu if you believe someone else has access.

    3. Meeting people in real life — read this

    Important: Spontly does not verify the identity of its users and does not run background checks. Anyone can create an account.

    You decide who to meet and you do so at your own risk. We strongly recommend that you meet in public places, keep your own way home, tell a friend where you are going, and leave immediately if you feel uncomfortable.

    If you are in danger, contact the police (112 in the EU) — not us.

    4. Content and behaviour

    You keep the rights to what you post, and you grant us the limited right to store and display it inside the Service so that it can work. You are responsible for having the right to post it.

    There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. The following is forbidden:

    • harassment, threats, stalking, hate speech or discrimination;
    • sexual content, nudity, or any material involving minors;
    • violence, weapons, drugs, or anything illegal under Czech or EU law;
    • spam, advertising, commercial recruitment, scams or requests for money under false pretences;
    • impersonating another person, or photos that are not of you;
    • publishing anyone else's personal data without their consent.

    5. Reporting, blocking and moderation

    Every profile and every meetup has a Report action, and you can block any user — their meetups and messages disappear from your app immediately and they can no longer reach you.

    We review reports of objectionable content and abusive users within 24 hours and remove the content, the account, or both. Accounts removed for abuse are not restored. You can also write to info@spontly.eu.

    6. Paid meetups and money

    An organiser may state that a meetup has a cost (for example a court booking or a ticket) and share bank details so that participants can send their share.

    Spontly does not process these payments, does not hold the money and takes no commission. Payments happen directly between you and the organiser through your own bank. We are not a payment service and cannot refund, reverse or guarantee such a transfer — any dispute is between you and the other person.

    7. Things you may not do

    • collect data about users by scraping, bots or automated access;
    • reverse-engineer the app or interfere with its security;
    • resell or commercially exploit the Service or its content;
    • use the Service to break the law or to harm anyone.

    8. Availability

    Spontly is offered as it is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. The app is young and features may change, break or be withdrawn. We may change or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.

    9. Limitation of liability

    To the extent permitted by law, Spontly and its operator (Sergej Děďuchin, IČO 09827064) are not liable for:

    • what happens before, during or after a meetup, including the conduct of other users;
    • the accuracy of anything a user writes about themselves or about a meetup;
    • money you send to another user;
    • indirect or consequential damages, or loss of data.

    Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Czech law, including for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, nor your statutory consumer rights.

    10. Ending the agreement

    You may delete your account at any time in Profile → Account → Delete account, or by writing to info@spontly.eu. We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms — without notice where the breach is serious.

    11. Governing law

    These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence, and you may turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI) for out-of-court dispute resolution.

    12. Changes and contact

    We may update these terms. We will announce significant changes in the app or by email, and continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions: info@spontly.eu.
